*Term begins and ends on the days of the month that your meter is read in your service area.

**The % of additional MA Class I RECs purchased each year is inversely related to the MA Req. As the MA Req % increases each year the purchase of additional MA Class I RECs decreases accordingly thereby maintaining a total of 100% MA Class I RECs throughout the contract term.

***The power supply is offset with 45% above the state mandated MA Class I RECs from local renewable sources. Offset percentage varies based on annual MA Req. Total % of MA Class I RECs are 59% in 2019, 61% in 2020, 63% in 2021, 65% in 2022, and 67% in 2023.

Rate includes (1) Consultant Services Fee of $0.001 per kWh to facilitate Lowell’s Community Choice Power Supply Program and (2) Municipal Services Fee of $0.001 per kWh to fund personnel costs associated with City’s Energy Manager position.

At the end of each term a new rate and term will be determined.  It may or may not be with the same supplier. With each subsequent supplier/rate/term change, all consumers who were previously in the Program will remain in the Program.

Rate may increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the contract.
